Fairfield Porter: What Everyone Knows is the first large-scale exhibition of the artist’s work in New York City in twenty-five years and the first ever at the Art Students League, where he studied from 1928–1930.

This annual exhibition celebrates artists who have recently completed a course of intensive study within the League’s renowned atelier system in order to earn a Certificate of Fine Art in Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Drawing, Comics and Narrative Arts, or Mixed Media.
