For 150 years, the Art Students League of New York has ensured access to high-quality arts education even for those with limited financial means. Today more than ever, scholarship support is critical to educating the next generation of great artists.
Each year the League awards over $1.2 million in scholarships, helping 250 students of all ages pursue their artistic dreams—but demand far outpaces our resources. With your support, we can open the doors to hundreds more.
The Director’s Relief Scholarship is a powerful way to open doors for artists of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Your gift helps us offer flexible need-based awards to students who are passionate about studying at the League but do not have the financial means to support their education on their own. Contributions of any size help us provide direct access to high-quality, hands-on training for artists facing urgent financial barriers.
