Get suited up for the Dream Ball—this year’s theme is a Masquerade of Your Wildest Dreams!
Bring your ideas to the costume workshop hosted by our partner Materials for the Arts (MFTA), or simply come to be inspired. MFTA Artists will guide you through “no sew” techniques in costume making. Learn to transform a large piece of fabric into a tunic—which can be turned into a variety of other clothing items—and explore a variety of mask techniques inspired by MFTA’s reusable supplies.
Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take an extra bag of items from MFTA’s warehouse to continue their project at home.
Snacks are available; feel free to bring your own beer or beverage!
Space is limited.
When you’re finished, show off your creation at the Dream Ball Costume Parade on May 20. Prizes will be awarded to the most inventive outfits. Get Dream Ball tickets now!
