As we roll into spring and summer, dust off your paintbrushes and get ready to paint outside. In this info session, instructor Gregg Kreutz will go over lessons learned from painting outside and talk painting techniques, prepping your set up, and upcoming opportunities to master your plein air skills within our community.
Throughout the spring and summer seasons, Kreutz and other League instructors offer in-person outdoor classes and workshops to explore the quality of light and atmosphere through open-air painting.
Award-winning painter Gregg Kreutz is the author of the best selling Oil Painting Essentials as well as the instructional classic Problem Solving for Oil Painters (now in its thirty-fifth year of publication). He teaches painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York and will be taking a group of students to Paris to paint in the city September 16-24, 2024.
